The MENA ICT Week event comes this year in parallel with the Gulf ICT Forum. The synergies enabled by this combination will provide maximum benefit to participants and will enhance their learning experience. The event will host a number of activities that will give event attendees the opportunity to participate in multiple activities. These activities include but are not limited to the following:
The two-day conference within MENA ICT Week will include distinguished speakers and renowned panelists who will discuss and debate the hottest issues affecting the regional ICT industry. The conference program was designed by ICT subject matter experts to meet the needs of today’s ICT professionals and managers.
Three parallel workshops will cover advanced topics of ICT that will include: ICT security, IT Project Management and Internet Service Provider issues. These workshops will be conducted by experts in each respective fields.
ICT business industry owners and managers from different countries in the Gulf, Middle East and the rest of the world will be able to match with partners and customers, and discuss ICT opportunities worth billons of dollars in the region.
Business Meetings and Visits: In addition to the business matching session, interested parties will have the opportunity to meet key local and regional decision makers. This will include external visits to key organizations.
Again this year, the jury will be reviewing products and solutions from various Arab ICT developers across the MENA region. The winning products in each category will receive the distinguished Arab Golden Chip Award.
The Arab ICT Organization, IJMA3, will hold its annual meeting during the event, bringing together the national ICT associations of: Morocco, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Kuwait, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. During this meeting, latest developments in the regional ICT arena will be discussed, and policies and activities will be discussed and coordinated.
The Arab Internet Service Provider Association will hold its board meeting during the event. This meeting will highlight critical issues related to Internet Service Provision and opportunities in developing new services for the Internet.
A night full of activity and fun to announce and celebrate the winners of the Arab Golden Chip Awards. The gala dinner will be open to all event participants.
